It really depends on who is working, it's a different experience each time. The atmosphere is lovely. The sourdough is also yummy. The food is pretty simple. They are open late, till 6pm, so sometimes they are the only options go study at in Magdalene Road. Their drinks are decent, a good mocha. ~ the only criticism I have is the last time I went in, the young lady was serving everyone eating in on a sunny day in take away cups. Usually they have mugs. I don't like when someone serves in plastic cups when it's unnecessary. It is a big waste. :(

Best service in Oxford! Me and my family come in here in the mornings, all the staff are so friendly and smiley, AJ, Nicky and others are all so sweet. They’re always making sure the coffee is to my liking and that I’m well! These staff need commendation. One thing that makes this shop better than the rest is the staff, coffee is good too!

The only place that served early breakfast on Sunday morning while we were visiting Oxford. Ordered salmon bagel sandwich and fluffy pancakes with cream. Drinks were simple hot black coffee and a latte. Price was reasonable and the food was order-made fresh. Would visit and chill there again.

Lovely cafe that is open into early evening with great coffee and cakes. Friendly service and informal seating, including outside tables on Oxford's cheerful Magdalen Road, popular with locals and visitors. Snacks and meals made with tasty local bread (also for sale). Child friendly, dog friendly, and just generally friendly! Recommended.

An incredibly cozy café in Oxford, that is perfect for studying, working, reading, drawing, or catching up with loved ones. There are tons of food options, including treats suitable for those who are vegan/ vegetarian/ gluten free. The standout at The Larder for me was the staff. Their entire dynamic, and welcoming nature, made ordering food a very pleasant experience. There is ample seating both indoors and outdoors, as well as outlets. This is a fantastic café, so get visiting!

The service is excellent especially the male staff (sorry didn’t get your name), he is so friendly and very welcoming. The lemon pistachio cake is nice, but a bit too sweet. The ice latte is good with the perfect amount of milk. The blue vanilla ice cream is delicious with good texture. The room is comfortable and cozy.

Lovely! Great place, lovely staff, nice outdoor seating to watch the world go by. However, the low-fi music inside the coffee shop is a bit off-putting, as it feels like I'm in a never-ending elevator ride. Maybe some other music could be played? Other than that, love it!

Nice place in a quiet area with some cafes and restaurants around. We had the brunch and it was nice but we thought rather small quantities for the price you pay, so I’d maybe recommend to rather have a sandwich or bagel as they also looked good but for a fairer prices. We also had coffee and tea and were good.
